Voices of students who transferred to Teikyo University

Why did you transfer to Teikyo University?

I started practicing calligraphy in high school, and continued to be active in the calligraphy club even after entering university. As I continued to be active, I wanted to study calligraphy in more depth, and began to consider transferring to Teikyo University Faculty of Liberal Arts Department of Japanese Cultures. I started by asking my friends who were also active in the calligraphy club about the classes, and took any classes that appealed to me using the open curriculum. I also had many friends who were junior college students aiming to transfer to university, and the credits I earned through the open curriculum I regularly used were recognized as part of my graduation credits even after transferring to university, so I decided to transfer to Teikyo University because of the extensive support for transfer students.

How can I prepare for transfer admission selection?

I was thinking about transfer from the beginning of enrollment. I usually focus on quizzes, classes and exams so that I can get the qualification for exemption from the written exam, which is given only to those with excellent grades. It takes long time to go to school so I mainly studied memorization during commuting, and I was studying at MELIC (library) during the free time at school. At MELIC, there are students who are reading books or studying hard so you can study while receiving good stimulation.
