Educational Goals and Our Three Policies
Educational Purposes and Three Policies

Educational Purposes

In accordance with School Philosophy, the Faculty of Science Faculty of Science and Engineering aims to develop talented individuals who have acquired a wide range of knowledge related to the fields of science and engineering and who can make decisions from an international perspective. In each field, the aim is to develop talented individuals with creativity and expertise rich in humanity through Practical learning education that emphasizes experiments and training, from theory to practice.

Three policies of Faculty of Science and Engineering

The Faculty of Science and Faculty of Science and Engineering aims to develop talented individuals who have specialized knowledge and a comprehensive perspective and can contribute to the development of society, based on education and research in science and engineering. Degrees are awarded to those who have acquired the following abilities and completed the required number of credits.

  1. Students will study humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences, and further acquire a broad range of knowledge through specialized subjects, enabling them to apply it to applied problems.
  2. They have knowledge about multiple cultures and different cultures and can work collaboratively using their communication skills.
  3. Students will be able to respond to a variety of challenges by comprehensively utilizing the skills they have acquired through Practical learning.

In order to enable students to acquire the abilities set out in the degree awarding policy, the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Science and Engineering organizes its curriculum according to the following policy.

  1. We have established General Education to equip students with the ability to continue learning throughout their lives, the ability to make decisions from an international perspective, and the basic knowledge necessary for engineers.
  2. Specialized subjects are provided to enable students to acquire the specialized knowledge and comprehensive perspective required as science and engineering engineers.
  3. Through Practical learning, we design exercises, experiments, training, and graduation research so that students can respond to a variety of challenges.

Faculty of Science and Engineering aims to develop human resources who can contribute to the development of society in today's society, where various problems are intricately intertwined on a global scale.
