In recent years, there has been an increasing demand for physical therapy aimed at recovering and maintaining physical function for patients who are physically handicapped due to illness, injury, old age, etc. from the viewpoint of QOL (quality of life). In the Department of Physical Therapy, we provide practical education through clinical training at local medical institutions and train physical therapists who can play an active role in a wide range of fields such as medical care, health, welfare, long-term care, and sports.

"Seminar system" to promote mutual exchange among students In Department of Physical Therapy, students not only study the subjects they learn in class, but also promote interaction between grade levels. In order to have students experience more of these programs, 'Practical learning’ on campus and to nurture students with a more humane and specialized degree, we have adopted a seminar system with 10 students in each grade from 1 to 4th year.
カリキュラム
In the 1st and 2nd year, students learn from basic medical knowledge to the basics of evaluation for major diseases through clinical training. Practical training is in full swing in the 3rd and 4th year. Students learn physiotherapy evaluation at sites such as hospitals and facilities, acquire skills through long-term practical training for patients, and challenge national examinations. There are also overseas trainings for those who wish to learn international sensibilities and practices in the United States.
