Aiming to enhance career education through collaboration with teaching professions
Student Support Division Career Support Center (Hachioji Campus)
Career Support Center Head of Center Masanori Toyoshima (Professor, Faculty of Economics)
Teikyo University offers step-by-step Support for Career Development starting from the moment of enrollment. In the spring of their first year, students take an assessment test, a career design tool, to analyze themselves and set future goals. Career-related courses organized by year support students in developing employability and improving basic social skills. To create a career support center where students can "see each other," in addition to the traditional student interviews by nationally qualified career advisors, the center offers a wide range of student support through collaboration between faculty and staff, including the establishment of student consultation slots by staff, walk-in consultations, and the activities of the Career Support Committee.
