The university curriculum is made up of "specialized subjects" in which students learn specialized knowledge and skills in areas aligned with their interests and future goals, and "General Education" to help students acquire a broad range of knowledge, comprehensive judgment, and a rich humanity. In today's rapidly changing society, social issues tend to become more diverse and complex. It is difficult to respond to these issues with knowledge in a single or limited field of expertise alone, and a multifaceted approach to thinking that encompasses both the humanities and sciences is required. Liberal arts education courses are divided into four fields: humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and a combination of the humanities and sciences. Students are expected to study in accordance with the graduation requirements and acquire a multifaceted perspective that encompasses both the humanities and sciences.
